22/11/2011 - F3 Cup star driver Aaron Steele stepped up his preparations for his FIA Formula Two Test next month by having his seat fitted at Bedford Autodrome.
The 22-year old racer from Kent is set to join a host of international drivers at the iconic Catalunya circuit in Barcelona on 13 December, to take part in the FIA Formula Two test as a reward for his F3 Cup achievements this season.
Steele, who dominated the F3 Cup this season with 14 wins from 18 races, is eagerly anticipating his chance to shine in Formula Two machinery and has been counting down the days to the test. Last week he had his seat fitted in the Williams JPH1B which brought home the fact he will be travelling to Spain in just under four weeks time.
He said: "It's getting very exciting because the test is getting ever closer day by day. We have had the seat fitting now and I have been talked through all the controls on the car. I just can't wait for it to happen now. Barcelona will be fantastic as I have seen it on Formula One many times."
The ex-Formula Palmer Audi driver is under no illusions heading into the test but is determined to show he has the speed to impress around the challenging Barcelona circuit.
He said: "The target is to be quick and really stamp my authority on the test and send out a good message."
