22/03/2012 - Leading motorsport publication Autosport magazine has labelled the F3 Cup as one of the national championships to watch this season.
The F3 Cup, which is set for bumper grids this season, features in this week's edition of Autosport with journalist Ben Anderson, including the championship in his six national championships/series to watch this year.
Ben Anderson writes: "Club F3 declined to the point of losing championship status at the end of 2009, but the category has been revived under the stewardship of Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision Racing. The result is a grid that's looking healthier than for many years in terms of numbers, while the addition of Jamie Stanley, Linton Stuteley, James Abbott, Tristan Cliffe, Gino Ussi and James Cross, the quality should be good."
The championship was joined in the feature by the Porsche Carrera Cup and the Air Asia Renault Clio Cup to name just two.
The 18 race F3 Cup championship begins with a visit to Cheshire's Oulton Park on Easter Monday 9 April, where it will be joined by the British GT Championship.
Drivers and teams interested in joining the 2012 F3 Cup should contact championship co-ordinator Simon Davey on 07770 368648, email firstname.lastname@example.org. For all the latest news and further announcements visit www.f3cup.co.uk. Follow F3 Cup on twitter at www.twitter.com/f3cup.
