15/10/12 - Prajesh Shah says hard work both on and off the track has helped him climb the ranks in F3 Cup this season as he prepares to shine at the Snetterton season finale.

The 20-year-old, who drives for Chris Dittmann Racing, is arguably the most improved driver on the grid this year working his way up from the rear of the field to the podium in only his second season in motor racing. With an F3 Cup trophy firmly in his cabinet, he hopes his hard work can spur him to more success at the Snetterton season finale on 27/28 October.

Shah has burst onto the scene in the last three meetings of the season at Brands Hatch GP, Anglesey and Silverstone GP with the former Monoposto Championship driver securing an impressive second place finish at Anglesey last month. The CDR man has credited his rise in form to plenty of hard work studying away from the track is feeling confident ahead of the final round at Snetterton.

He said: "I've made a massive improvement from the start of the season and ever since the Brands Hatch round I've noticed it. I made a breakthrough with understanding the car at Brands Hatch and then from there we made a huge stride at Anglesey, picking up a podium which was excellent. We carried that on at Silverstone where we were strong again. There has been a lot of hard work away from the track studying what the car can do so it is a great feeling to make the improvement and put the theory into practice. I've got to thank all my family and the CDR team it's been a real team effort.

"I'd like to finish the season off with another strong points haul at Snetterton. The circuit is similar to Anglesey so I hope to finish the season on a high. I was a little disappointed with Silverstone but we still picked up good results."

The F3 Cup is set for a thrilling three way title showdown with Chris Dittmann holding a 25.5 point lead from Tristan Cliffe with Gino Ussi just four points further back.
