Alice Powell is still out in front despite Henry Chart beating her to the flag in race one last time out. Powell won her third race of the season in race two as reliability issues for Chart put paid to any chances of another ding-dong battle between the pair.
Alex Craven is in a strong second place in the championship after a consistent start to the season and on a familiar circuit to him he'll be expecting that consistency to remain. Tristan Cliffe was quickly up to speed at Silverstone with his new car for 2013, and he's already admitted he wants to be fighting for the podium now the teething problems are ironed out.
Dave Karakas surrendered the Trophy 01 Class championship lead at Silverstone thanks to Olly Rae's good performance, and he'll be looking to reply in the best possible way.
Louis Hamilton-Smith's season started a round late at Silverstone, but he was right on the pace and came away with a strong points haul. With the rust blown off he'll hope to continue in the same vein and build on his pair of third places.
Robbie Watts will be in confident mood too following his double win at Brands Hatch two weeks ago in the Monoposto Championship, and the two Harrisons will be hoping for a return to the form shown at Oulton Park. With James Cross usually in the mix too it's shaping up to another unpredictable and competitive weekend.
There's a new face in F3 Cup too this weekend as Scott Temple makes the switch from Formula Ford 2000. The car is familiar to the championship though, having previously been raced in F3 Cup by James Ledamun.
F3 Cup will be racing on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, and tickets are just £13 on the gate. The full weekend timetable can be found here.
