Robinson returns to partner Wiltshire at Gale Force Racing

Gale Force Racing welcomes back Nick Robinson for tomorrow's (19 July) rounds nine and ten of F3 weekend.

Gale Force Racing welcomes back Nick Robinson for tomorrow's (19 July) rounds nine and ten of F3 Cup weekend after a rare one-car effort at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, last time out.

Robinson sat out the overseas rounds, leaving tomorrow's team-mate Stuart Wiltshire as the team's sole representative in Belgium,

"I'm glad to be back after missing Spa." Robinson said ahead of this weekend's double header. "I'll be out in every round from here as we build for next season."

Robinson's last outing saw him help Gale Force Racing collect the second biggest teams' points haul of the year, 92, partnering Alice Powell.

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Hopefully we can continue to pick up good points in the teams' championship.

"Oulton Park is a really good circuit. It's not been easy in testing today with some oil down and a damp track but we'll see how far up we can go tomorrow, quite possibly in the wet."

Robinson will be alongside Stuart Wiltshire at Oulton Park this weekend, who he beat twice at the equivalent round in 2013. Wiltshire though is enjoying one of his best-ever seasons in the championship.

Wiltshire said: "I loved it at Spa. I would go there three times in a year if we could. The second race last month was probably the best I've driven. A podium would have topped it off to add to my one at Snetterton, but Lee had the better of me.

"Beating Lee is my target this weekend. It will be tough to get on the podium as there are some fast drivers back like Henry [Chart] and Louis [Hamilton-Smith]."

Both Robinson and Wiltshire stayed with Mike Gale over the winter, who took the over the team from the retiring Mark Bailey Racing. Gale, and the rest of the team, continue to impress the pair.

Wiltshire said: "Mike's been great, the whole team have in fact. I love racing in the championship and the team really help to make you enjoy it even more. I can't wait for next season, let alone this weekend."

Robinson agreed, adding: "The team works really hard and the car is always set-up perfectly. We run through everything but we have a great time too.

"We'll do everything we can to pick up some good results for them this weekend."
