2015 Championship costs confirmed
F3 Cup will continue to be the most affordable place to race F3 machinery in the UK
The MSVR-promoted F3 Cup will continue to provide the most affordable opportunity to race Formula 3 machinery in the UK this season, as costs for the 2015 championship have been confirmed today (30 January).
Holding at last year's price, registration for the championship will cost just £280 for 2015. Entry fees start at £425 for the weekends at Oulton Park (two races), Donington Park (three races), Brands Hatch Indy (three races), Brands Hatch GP (two races), and Snetterton 300 (three races). The visit to Formula 1's British home at Silverstone GP (two races) will cost £525, while the European round at Spa-Francorchamps (two races) will cost £615.
The championship's switch to F1 tyre-supplier Pirelli this year will see another saving for competitors with a full set costing less than the equivalent in past years. Control fuel from Sunoco will further help to keep budgets in check and give competitors a chance to win the coveted Sunoco 200 Challenge.
Although F3 cars are currently available in the F3 Cup Marketplace from as little as £23,000, a number of existing F3 Cup teams can offer "arrive and drive" packages for drivers looking to experience the thrill of Formula 3 machinery in a dedicated championship, even without such an investment. Combined with a change to the regulations for this year allowing drivers with National B licences to compete, there really has never been a better time to explore this high level single seater racing.
Registration and entry forms are now available on the F3 Cup website here, ahead of the new online entry system launching next week.
