Geoffrey Hoodless has signed up for more F3 Cup Masters class outings following his debut appearance in the championship last year.

Single-seater veteran Geoffrey first competed in Formula Ford in the mid-1970s with Lotus and Image chassis before taking a break from racing in 1981. A visit to the Goodwood Revival rekindled his interest in motorsport and having acquired a Swedish F3 Championship-winning March 813, he initially raced in Classic F3 events in Britain and France before his debut in the F3 Cup's Masters class.

Geoffrey made his first appearance at Brands Hatch, winning his class with 12th place overall in both races. He returned at Snetterton where he claimed a brace of seventh places and the Masters category spoils.

This year Geoffrey hopes to take part in as many races as possible in his 1981-vintage March, adding to the diversity of the field in Britain's only modern Formula 3 championship.

Geoffrey said: "I discovered F3 Cup in 2014 and raced at two events, Brands Hatch GP and Snetterton 300. What a great format, with plenty of track time and two races over a weekend. I was made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed myself immensely and got some trophies into the bargain! This year I hope to do more F3 Cup races in the Masters category, though unfortunately I will not be able to be at all of the events."

The 2015 F3 Cup season kicks off at Oulton Park on 6th April. If you are interested in joining the action, please contact championship coordinator Simon Davey on 07770 368648, email f3cup@msvracing.co.uk. For all the latest news and further announcements visit www.f3cup.co.uk.
