F3 Cup is pleased to confirm that the championship’s successful partnership with the Marchand Watch Company will continue in 2019.

F3 Cup is pleased to confirm that the championship’s successful relationship with the Marchand Watch Company will carry on in 2019, with the brand continuing as the championship’s official timing partner.

F3 Cup heads into its eighth championship season in 2019, and organisers MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) are pleased to welcome the Marchand brand back to the championship. The company’s logos will once again adorn all of the race cars this season, and feature on the championship website, and Marchand will offer prizes for the top three drivers at the end of the year.

The inspiration behind the Marchand Watch Company can be traced back to Adamir Marchand, who was born in Bienne, Switzerland in April 1885. A Swiss watch and clock inventor who joined Benrus Watch Company in the early 1930’s, Adamir is the great grandfather of Daniel Brigham, founder of Marchand Watch Company. The company’s first line of timepieces, the Debonair, was launched to great acclaim in 2017, while delivery of the flagship automatic Legacy model began last November. Alongside these, the company unveiled a range of new models including the Driver, Driver Chrono, Tourer Chrono and Tourer Chrono Mk2 in 2018, with the brand new GT Collection scheduled for launch later this year.

F3 Cup remains the only championship in the UK exclusively open to close-to-contemporary (pre-2017) Formula 3 machinery. Another superb calendar will see visits to the UK’s favourite circuits, including Brands Hatch GP, Silverstone GP and Donington Park. The 2018 title was won by Cian Carey (Chris Dittmann Racing), ahead of vice-champion Stuart Wiltshire (CF Racing) and the University of Wolverhampton Racing’s Shane Kelly.

The 2019 season kicks off at Donington Park on 6-7 April. For more information on the championship please visit www.f3cup.co.uk, and for more information on Marchand Watch Company please visit marchandwatches.com
